For ages the Danes have celebrated midsummer evening - also called Sancte Hans - by lighting up the bonfire.
No (real) summer at Hedebo Strand Camping without the Skt Hans bonfire on the beach here in Sæby. Traditionally, we Danes send the witch to Bloksbjerg this evening, and as always we gather:
The café sells beer / water / ice cream, and there is small fireplaces where the children can roast their marshmellows. The music plays at 7.30 pm, and the café is open for fun. Our camp manager, Eric Christensen, gives this year's Skt Hans speech.
Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you :)
